About Our Company

Prayag Policy Research and Innovation Institute (PPRII) is an outcome of two young professional aspired to contribute for global development. Policies plays a crucial role in the development of any society. There is a need to conduct policy research to set right direction for the professionals working in different areas.

Agriculture is one of the sector ensuring supply of quality food. With the social advancement, agriculture sector is evolving in to two segments i.e. traditional agriculture and urban agriculture. Traditional agriculture is focusing on the production of food grains, but the urban farming is focusing on the production of greens i.e. vegetables/fruits. Though the present share of urban agriculture is almost negligible as compared to traditional farming, this farming is getting attention to ensure supply of quality vegetables and other fresh agriculture produce. The days are not far when urban farming will bring more and more area, but they will never become competitor to each other.

In India farming is not considered as a respectable profession in our society. It is difficult for a farmer (Khetibadiwala) to share his/her profession at any platform. PPRII is on a mission to contribute to develop farming (Khetibadi) as a respectable profession in our society. We as a company are promoting urban farming/hi-tech farming and bringing more and more professionals in this area. Our founder, Dr. Praveen Singh is Doctorate in Agriculture with sound experience in different fields of agriculture. Past decade he is engaged in Hydroponic/hi-tech farming and he is a proud "Khetibadiwala". He is always available to support any urban/hydroponics/hi-tech farms in India and any part of the globe.
